WHERE WE ARE LOCATED
The Wirral Peninsula, nestled between the bustling city of Liverpool and the rolling hills of North Wales, is often described as one of the most beautiful places to visit in the UK. The fantastic landscapes and vistas attract a wide variety of wildlife, and is one of the rare places that is the natural home for the Natterjack Toad.
Wirral Lodge is located in Hoylake, famed for The Royal Liverpool Golf Club and birthplace of the current James Bond, Daniel Craig. Hoylake is a setting off point for many walks across the delightful Wirral landscape and local attractions.
The train station and bus stop are within 5 minutes walk, and provide a short journey to the centre of Liverpool and the Roman walled city of Chester. Liverpool is currently undergoing a 3 Billion regeneration programme and has resulted in one of the country’s best new shopping centres. You can also get the world famous Ferry across the Mersey to Liverpools World Famous waterfront and the Beatles Museum, or to watch either of the Barclays Premier League teams in Action: Liverpool Football Club and Everton Football Club. You could also take a short trip to see Manchester United Football Club.
Hoylake is also home to the Royal Liverpool Golf Club which hosted the British Open in 2006, and is due for return in 2014. If you would like us to arrange a round or two at the fantastic links course, or any of the other 150 courses in the North West then please give us a call and we can arrange it all for you.
